The additional ticket window will provide adequate service for spectator accessibility and will improve pedestrian circulation into the athletic facility.
BLEACHER, PRESS BOX & CONCESSIONS––––––––––––––––––––––
The home/visitor bleachers seating capacity consists of 1,000 seats and will be enclosed to provide additional storage underneath with a concession stand. The new structure will be code compliant for individuals with mobility impairments, reducing hazards and increasing safety for spectators. The press box will have viewing for the synthetic turf field & running track,
COMMUNITY SYNTHETIC TURF FIELD & TRACK–––––––––––––––––
The existing natural grass surface will be replaced with synthetic turf and incorporate a new wrap around walking/jogging track. These enhancements will significantly improve the aesthetics and playability of the site, making it an enjoyable experience for players, the community and spectators. The improvements to these site amenities will allow for safer use and play over the coming years, allowing for significantly higher number of events to occur on the field; Physical Education Classes can be held 7 periods a day, for not only the District and community but also attracting outside visitors.
FIELD EVENTS & COMMUNITY MULTI-USE FIELD––––––––––––––––
The triple jump/long jump and pole vault will be relocated, adding to the improvement of the facility layout. These field events will be expanded to two runways, which will shorten the duration of the jumping events during competitions.
To the northeast of the synthetic turf field will be a natural grass, community multi-use field. This field will be used for various activities when the synthetic turf field is in use.
The project consists of multiple improvements for the school district and surrounding community, including a synthetic turf field, walking/jogging track, improved home spectator seating, reconstructed field events, and improved circulation.
